| St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will receive 100% of all money raised at the Silent Auction. The hospital is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501© (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, therefore your gift is tax-deductible to the full extent provided by law. St. Jude is a nonprofit charity operating since 1962. Their federal tax identification number is 62-0646012. St. Jude will provide a receipt for gifts upon your request at the conclusion of the auction event. The CT Salsa Fest will be hosting a Silent Auction on Sunday May 30th, 100% of proceeds to benefit the Children of
St. Jude.
The CT Salsa Fest will raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital through the Special Events for St. Jude
fund~raising program.
St. Jude is one of the world's premier centers for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other
catastrophic childhood diseases.
Our Special Event program - will help raise funds to support St. Jude, which treats patients regardless of a family's
ability to pay. St. Jude is the only Pediatric Cancer Research Center where families never pay for treatments that
are not covered by insurance. No Child is ever denied treatments because of a family's inability to pay.
St. Jude depends on community-based fund~raising programs like Special Events for St. Jude to continue the
hospital's ground breaking research and lifesaving care. The daily operating cost for St. Jude is nearly $1.4 million,
which is primarily covered by public contributions.
We have also added special event packages with proceeds devoted to this worthy cause which includes: V.I.P.
Seating for Shows, Table seating in separate ballroom, an assortment of butler passed hors d’oeuvres and an open
bar for 2 hours (to include red and white house wines, champagne, and soda/juice/water)

| Enjoy a private reception with passed hors d’oeuvres and limited open bar. The reception will feature dancers performing Tango, Samba and other Ballroom dances by the following dance professionals: Tango Sueno - Argentine Tango Batala - Brazilian Dance More Dance Teams - TBA At the close of the Auction, you will be escorted into the Main Ballroom for the evenings Salsa performances, where you will be seated in front row VIP seats.
